The guys over at total quake wars have posted an "interview" that they had with activisions PR guy.
A short hands-on report from FiringSquad.
Three minutes of high-def footage from Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. For Mercury subscribers only so don't ask me if it's new.
This one minute video has gameplay using the badger and buffalo. Also, the audience reaction is worth listening to.
"Much of Activision’s stand was taken over by Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. This was one of the games that I was looking forward to playing at E3 and I wasn’t disappointed. Set before id’s classic Quake II, Quake Wars covers the initial battle between the humans and the Strogg as the aliens try to invade Earth. This really is a dream backdrop for a team based first person shooter and developer, Splash Damage looks like it’s making the most of this opportunity."
Another Enemy Territory: Quake Wars shaky-cam video. This one shows a Strogg Desecrator Hovertank devastating the GDF spawn, a Constructor placing deployables, taking down a Quad Bike with a Lacerator and lots more. The quality isn't the greatest (again) but this gamer here seems to know what to do. Really good video. Runtime 2:47.
An extremely well made HD gameplay video taken at E3 2006. Fantastic footage, best one till now. Definitely a must-see! Very hot stuff!
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars won the Best Shooting Game Award at 1UP.
"Okay ladies and gents, this is it. This is the only thing that most hardcore gamers wanted to know about, so here it is:Splash Damage's Edward 'bongoboy' Stern got me and Carmac into the front of the line to play ET:QW. We were given a choice of GDF (Global Defense Force) or Strogg. I took Strogg; Carmac will tell you about his GDF experience."
