Games For Window preview of ET:QW online
A review featured on the print (or PDF?) version of Games For Window a couple of months ago is now officially online. It's a pretty convoluted reading. Features buttes.

It's rare that much attention is given to the story in a multiplayer shooter. It's the kind of thing that's routinely ignored by developers and players alike -- we just want to get to the fragging, and developers know it. At best, maybe we get a few paragraphs of backstory to explain why everyone's fighting.
GamerZines has posted the latest interview with Paul Wedgwood of Splash Damage. In this interview, Paul Wedgwood talks about why the game is taking so long to come out, what we can expect when we finally see it, how big the maps are going to be and how many people can play against each other.... even though we feel battles of 24-32 players are ideal. Incidentally, I have no doubt players will make use of the room on the maps by setting up 128-player games down the line.

This podcast has some interesting statements from the guy that got to play the game. For instance: "One thing is that they insisted that it's actually slower than Quake III by quite a significant margin, but when you're used to playing Battlefield...Quake Wars is faster than hell."
Thread posted at the Splash Damage forum by Stephen "malarky" Gaffney, SD's IT Manager, asking mod teams to post their suggestions and feature requests For Enemy Territory: Quake Wars.
One new screenshot has been posted at GameSpot showing a Mobile Command Post and a couple GDF soldiers.
Best part: "... the GDF Soldier placing an Explosive Charge on the back of a Husky Quad Bike and rolling it down into the Strogg base."
PlanetQuakeWars.net got the chance to do an interview with Kevin Cloud. From the page: "Our Team had the pleasure to do a exclusive Interview with Kevin Cloud, id Software co-owner & ETQW Exec Producer. All these questions where collected from our users in our GamePropehts.com community forums. We thought that it is important that real players can ask their own questions to the guys which are working on this great game. "
Computer and Games Online has part 1 of their Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Q&A with Splash Damage's Paul Wedgewood available.
