For the launch of nVIDIA's latest graphics card the 8800 they released an Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Pre-Beta video to show off some new and nice visual effects. The 4 minutes long video is almost 200MB big. If the download from nZone is too slow try one of the mirrors in the comments.

778 days agoIGN just announced the reveal of a new map, The Ark. This map is about protecting a high-security DNA bank and bioresearch facility set in an cold, arctic enviorment. The reveal contained a full step-by-step mission briefing of the whole mission, a "territory map" and 2 new screenshots.
797 days agoPlanetquakewars.net released a video shot at Games Convention 2006 in Liepzig, Germany. The movie shows the skills of the Oppressor (including the Massive SSG) and some Hornet flying. The video was shot with a handheld camera wich first shows us a quick overview of the Activision booth before filming 2 monitors.

805 days agoGerman site PC Action posted new screenshots in their Enemy Territory: Quake Wars gallery showing new maps and locations. They are definitely not taken from the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars demo shown at the Games Convension, must be press material not meant for online distribution so grab'em fast.
805 days agoGlobalWar from www.quake-wars.eu decided to visit the Games Convension in Leipzig and posted a detailed Enemy Territory: Quake Wars preview. Lucky guy managed to stay for 3 rounds playing both sides, not like the rest of us average people :(
