851 days agoid Software, Inc. has contracted with Even Balance, Inc. to integrate PunkBuster™ Anti-Cheat software into the highly anticipated multiplayer online game Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars™, published by Activision. PunkBuster Anti-Cheat features will be available "out-of-the-box" with the retail release of the game.
878 days agoAfter the Activision Q1 2007 Earnings Release Conference Call today representatives said that they are expecting Enemy Territory: Quake Wars to be released before the end of fiscal year 2007 which ends on March 31st.

926 days agoIGN got some new info on Activisions pre-ordering system. Those who pre-order Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (at selected stores) get the possibility to register their username before anyone else. That means no love for gamers outside the US?
933 days agoThose are the details for the PCs used at the ET:QW LAN at E3 2006. Those are NOT the hardware requirements, Splash Damage didn't even start code optimization yet. (That's a single 7800GTX, not a SLI setup)

Willits later went on to to claim the company considered using advertising in the highly anticipated Enemy Territory Quake Wars video game.
