Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Moved to Fiscal 2008

A press release by Activision which besides other uninteresting things includes the decision to move the release date of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars into fiscal year 2008. For those who don't know: Fiscal 2008 starts April 1st 2007.

Hmm, ok, I'm confused now... it should start October 1st but it could also start April 1st... well, I dunno, you figure it out...

The company also said that its numbers will be impacted by the delay of Quake Wars, the anticipated PC shooter from developers Splash Damage and id Software. Activision said, "Fourth quarter results will be significantly impacted by higher legal expenses...and [the] decision to move the release of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars into fiscal year 2008," which begins in April 2007.

That is, nothing significant. Probably not even a new delay, just confirmation.

that doesn't mean summer ;-)

activision gamecalendar still says winter/spring and spring would be the 1st quarter of atvi fiscal year 2008 which is april - june 2007

When they give season dates it usually refers to the USA so Id say June, July or August, for the summer months.

This doesn't mean much to me... provided the public beta test comes out on schedule, with a longer period than whatever they originally planned (only 1 month?).
